I love my little point and shoot so much – I’ve worn it out past it’s exhaustion as I now have problems with it “shaking” after about 20 shots. As my husband says: “The poor little thing has survived over a million pictures from the paparazzi and needs to be replaced.” I’ve been scouting out new DSLRs, but still use my old SLR with film as I haven’t found the right one yet. I love to take photos of my family. We have our 10th grandchild due in November and I just hope that my camera holds up through his birth. I love to catch the everyday events that their parents are usually too overwhelmed to capture. It would be nice to have a small camera that would fit in my purse so I could always snap the images as they live their busy lives. I think that we are so blessed to have the technology that many of our ancestors never had … I think they would consider cameras to be a miracle!

oooh oooh I had a Fuji I loved. It finally gave up the ghost. (I found it wasn’t water proof in a bad way- think bathroom. I’d really love another and I’m not picky about color! What a great prize!

Wow, this is so generous. I would love to win this camera. My Sony broke this summer when we where on holiday. I can still make photo’s with it, but the display broke, so I can’t see what I do and I can only use the automatic standard and no special settings. Hubby orderd a new display on an American site. It doesn work! Last year I also bought a little camera, a Nikon. My DD took it when she went on schoolcamp. Unfortunately she broke it. Not intentionally, but she took it to the beach and sand got in the lens. Now it won’t open anymore. I haven’t got the money to buy a new camera, I will have to save. However, with the economics going bad, three kids groing up it will take a long long time for me to save enough money to buy a new camera!
