The Ole Switch-a-Roo

in Tutorials Pin this scrappy stuff!

Sometimes, there is an element, or even a photo that doesn’t face the way we want it to. Take this cute little bee. He is from my newest collection, Just Be Happy. I want him to fly the other way.

You could just use the transform controls and “squish” him until he flips, but sometimes if we fdon’t do it for just the right length, our element can look…off.

Thankfully, there is an easy solution. We are ALL about easy, right? Go to Edit->Transform->Flip Horizontal.  As you can see from the picture, you can also flip vertically.

See? Easy peasy, relatively painless. You can do this with all sorts of elements and photos too.  And as you can see, you can also use this trick to easily rotate objects too. Question- Would anyone be interested in a TUT on what the other options in the transform menu do? Scale, rotate, Skew etc. I mainly use these in design, but it’s some fun info. Let me know in the comments! Thanks!

Thanks – I use this feature a lot! Could I add that for PSE users it is under Edit>Rotate. Make sure to use the second set of options that have the layer word it them. If you use the top six options you will flip the whole page. :)
