Tutorial Tuesday: Vertical Text

Every once in awhile, I want a vertical title. Usually, it’s not a big deal if I use an alpha from the kit, but in this case, the alpha didn’t really match my LO. So I was going to make my own {remember the Tut on making your own alpha?} I wanted my title to go right down the side of the series of pictures. Well, there is an easy way to flip your text so it writes vertically instead of horizontally.

Select your Text tool. On the tool bar to the left, activate the fly out menu for the text tool. You can do that by right clicking on the T. Once activated Simply click the the Vertical Type Tool option.

Now, place your curser where you want to type and have at it! Pretty easy right? And in case you were wondering, to switch back to the horizontal type, you go through the same steps. I turned my LO into a QP FREEBIE for you! minus vertical title, so you can add your own. DL HERE I use Candy Corn by Flowerscraps and a Template from my newest template pack Multiplicity V2. Enjoy!
