Cheez The One revisited, plus a siggy!

by Studio Team on 21 January 2013
in Freebies, theStudio Design Team Pin this scrappy stuff!

One of the first things that caught my attention when I started digiscrapping was the “siggy.” Everybody had one; I wanted one. I must admit that it took me a few tries to ‘get it right,’ but once I did, I’ve never been without one. It took me a bit longer to realize that a siggy wasn’t just for digiscrap forums either. I started using siggies on my personal email, and then later, on my work email too. A touch of my creative self shared I tell people. And people like it!

Because I use siggies on my email, I change my siggy frequently to keep up with the season and keep it interesting. Being behind as I always am, I have to admit to having a fall-themed siggy long into the Christmas season. Valentine’s day is fast approaching though, and I am bound and determined to have a siggy ready for it this time. Karen of Snickerdoodle Designs mentioned that she was revisiting an old classic, Cheez The One, and I took that as my cue.

How cute are Pepe and his gal?! Adorable, right? You can find Cheez The One at 30% off in Snickerdoodle Designs shop now, or check out the whole collection for 60% off! It includes the kit plus solids, 2×2’s, clusters, chipboard mats, and glitters. It’s perfect for layouts about love (especially cheezy ones) and valentine’s day cards. You might even try a hybrid card or project!

If you’re looking for inspiration, check out these Cheez The One layouts:

Now you didn’t think I’d leave without sharing my V-day siggy, did you? Just click on the preview below to download, and feel free to use it in emails and digiscrap forums alike! (hint: add a photo or title and use it like a cluster on a layout too!)

LOVE this, Jen! You’re not the only one behind in these things, so don’t feel bad! I’ll bet we’ll be seeing tons of this adorable siggie showing up soon! Thanks!

Thanks for the siggy. I made one once, but how do you get it to sign off your email with?

You are welcome Kathi – it depends on your email program. For yahoo mail, I upload my finished siggy sized at 600px width 200px length to an online source (e.g. theStudio gallery or Photobucket) and then copy the image by right click – copy. In my email, I open mail options – signature and then paste the image I copied. In Microsoft Office, you can go to tools – options- mail format – signatures and you’ll find there is an image upload button just like the gallery (or you can try copy and paste as well). Maybe others will have different suggestions for other programs. Good luck – I hope it works out for you!
