Halloween is coming.

The stores are filled with the traditional black and orange and bags of candy in every shape and size. Years ago this was definitely a child’s game, but it has grown into much more in recent years. Here in the U.S. it seems some folks are always looking for a reason to celebrate, host, or attend a party. Not so much in my family but I do get a kick out of seeing some of the creative ideas people come up with. Several years ago one of my co-workers went to a party as a Q-tip. This was back in the days when matching sweat suits were all the craze and she somehow found a light blue one which set the stage. She wrapped her feet and head in quilting batting and even found a way to twist it to a nice point. It was really too cute, but the best part was that they used a cardboard box and decorated her boyfriend as the Q-tip box complete with a perforated opening down one side. I do love incredibly creative people. I especially love it when someone can take something small or in basic form and do something amazing. That is definitely the case with the Add-On from Cute Monsters by Featured Designers eqrAveziur and Brigit of Designs by Brigit. These ladies went all out. They made a darling kit, Cute Monsters that One Lucky Participant will receive FREE later this month. Take a look below for a quick peek at some of the pages made with nothing but the Cute Monsters Add-on. Not Into Halloween but still looking for a deal to make you scream? Both designers have their store on sale for 40% off for a few more days to celebrate their coveted “Featured Designer” status. If Halloween isn’t your “thing” don’t let that stop you. Give their stores a browse. There are some beautiful kits by both ladies that are no where near a Halloween theme.

Tell me about the best costume you’ve ever seen on a child or an adult. I’m looking for creativity and imagination here. I’ll have a coupon for one lucky winner on Friday from one of these two designers. The winner will receive a page kit absolutely FREE. Just leave a comment with the details and I’ll be back on Friday to choose a winner.

An adorable toddler skunk. I’m biased as it was my son but that year strangers were asking to take his picture because everyone thought he was so cute and no one had seen a costume like it before.

That’s too cute! Both of these are great. My question is…where are the pictures?
