How To Cast Perfect Shadows Everytime

in Designer Tools & Tips,Photoshop Action,Photoshop CS+ Pin this scrappy stuff!

It’s been almost a year since I posted about JanetB’s Drop Shadow Styles.  I love these styles.  They make it so easy add shadows to clusters or even a simple photo on a page but sometimes I want to cast a shadow.  This is not so hard to do but there are extra steps involved.  I confess, I’m a child of the “instant gratification” generation and I prefer to do things the easy way.  I’m not lazy, I just like to get more done in less time so I was delighted when I found this Cast Shadows Action by Vero – The French Touch.  I grabbed some classic items from ManuScraps Cappuccino Kisses for my first example.  I deliberately left the shadow on the coffee pot a little skewed to show how easy it is to move your shadow around.  This action is the answer for quick, easy, and “perfect every time” cast shadows.castShadows

Vero also has a complete set of shadow styles for light, medium and dark backgrounds.  These range from almost non-existent to a nice tight shadow.  Shadowing will never be a challenge again.

vero_shadowstyles It’s easy to take your clusters to a new level with shadows.  Both files include installation instructions and both designers have them on sale for your right now for 30% off but there is also a bonus coupon below.

What about “cast shadows” for those of us using PSE(11)????? Is there such an action that can work for us? Or how about instructions on how to do it manually?????
