I am really excited to tell you about a new collab kit I created with the fabulous Christine of Digilicious Designs.  This kit, called Time Stands Still, is really soft and lovely – vintage style with a hint of shabby chic.  The central theme is about “time” and it’s also a perfect collection for everyday layouts.  Check out the previews for Time Stands Still and the coordinating Quick Pages. Best of all, it’s on sale at 25% off but hurry because the sale won’t last long!

Kimberkatt made this beautiful page using Time Stands Still:

Here’s a sample layout I made using one of the Quick Pages.  This is my dad and one of my uncles, when they first immigrated from Italy to the U.S.

I have revamped my My Guy kit, just in time for Father’s Day.  It has more papers and elements and it’s a steal right now for only $2.00!

You can grab this FREE “My Guy” Quick Page in my DSS store.

I want to mention, also, that there are a LOT of my products on sale right now in my DSS store.  Several kits will be retiring so they’re only available for a limited time.

I have a pretty freebie for you created using Time Stands Still.  You can grab this lovely cluster on my personal blog.

I’m Darlene Haughin and I’m a wife, mother, sister, friend – but mostly I define my self as a Christian. I do so because of my beliefs and the way I try to live my life. I am in a blended family with my husband, two sons of my own, and two stepsons whom I have raised. We have had our share of ups and downs, like everyone who is part of this human experience. I’d like to share a little of what faithbooking means to me, and how I incorporate it in my pages.. I have a “faithbook” – a scrapbook I’ve created using my favorite scriptures, and pages that remind me of what I aspire to be. I find the process of creating the layouts to be cathartic and energizing, and I always have something to go back to look at as a reminder. I’d like to share a couple of pages with you.

Another way I like to incorporate my faithbooking is in my general layouts, not specifically for my faithbook. Here’s a page from my wedding album:

And another from one of my vacation albums:

Not every layout has a scripture quote, of course – but there are some. When my oldest son headed off to college, I wanted to make something for him to remind him to stay grounded. I made a matchbook album that included a few relevant scriptures on topics like trust, integrity, loneliness, strength, joy, etc. Here is a sample of what it looks like:

Susan Godfrey and I teamed up to bring a new faithbooking kit to the Studio, called On My Knees. I’m so pleased with how this kit turned out – perfect for so many types of faithbooking layouts and even a “grown-up” Easter, without all the bunnies and Easter eggs.  Here’s a sample layout I created using this On My Knees:

It means so much to me because not only was this a major event in David’s life, by my husband (David’s stepdad) was with him, and my close friend Lynn (our children’s pastor) was the one who baptized him. What a beautiful event and a special memory!

This is my family:

This photo is several years old now – the boys are much bigger! – but it’s still my favorite.

May you all find comfort, peace, and joy through faithbooking. God bless!
