Just a photo of a penguin (even if he is snorkeling) makes it seem a little cooler, don’t you think? It’s crazy hot in many parts of the globe right now but you can find some super cool deals on Christmas Kits during the Studio Christmas in July Sale.
There is something for everyone. If you like traditional, you’ll love Deck The Halls by ADB Designs or Dusky Christmas Delight by WendyP Designs.

Diane of ADB Designs has started a new series of questions to help you document your life. It started as just a few questions. It started as journaling prompts. It has grown to full scrapbook pages and some wonderful stories to pass down to the next generation. It has also grown to become the newest monthly challenge at theStudio. If you have always wanted to do a better job of documenting your life but the task was overwhelming, this is the time (and place) to start. It’s a virtual “round table” of others who were just looking for some like minded friends to sit down and take care of a task that had been on their to do list.
Diane is on Question 4 but it wouldn’t take much to go back and start at the beginning. You can find the full set of questions and a bit of her story on her blog. The beauty of this series is that you can start anywhere and you can do it your own way. Here is Diane’s layout about her dad. She used Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy to make her page.
Need some special “manly” embellishments for your page? Diane has her CU Vintage Mix Brushes Vol. 3 on sale as part of her $2 Flea Market Finds. Each week she features a Personal Use and Commercial Use product for $2.
Everyone has a story. Will you be sharing yours?
Have you got some spring photos that need to be scrapped? LouCee Creations has the perfect solution with Dance In To Spring.
She twirls in the garden ‘neath a butterfly’s wings. Sunshine beaming brightly, it’s a Dance In To Spring! Bold green and yellow, with a soft touch of peach, a festive gold owl, lets out a big screech. Mushrooms, chrysanthemums, a twig in a bow, tiny sequined eggs all hung in a row. Dress up the table with a doily so fine, get ready to celebrate, it’s finally spring time!
This page is the one that caught my eye. At first glance, it looked like the drama scene my grandgirls are so good at. On closer inspection, I realized the baby was sleeping. I love the real flowers clustered together with plastic buttons, ribbons and the little sunshine flair. Too cute!
LouCee has the collection on sale for 30% off right now so there is still time to get a bargain AND get your spring photos completed before summer arrives.
The frames are great on this page! People are just so creative.
While you’re there, be sure to check theStudio Monthly Challenges Gallery. It’s a great place to find inspiration and the perfect opportunity to step in and find a few friends with common interests. You might enjoy the Recipe Card Challenge.
Whatever you do, stay tuned. National Scrapbooking Day is coming right up! We’re going to be having some fun and you should be here at theStudio to play!
