Vintage Ephemera Vol 2 {Black History}

Vintage Ephemera Vol 2 {Black History}

These advertising images are from my personal collection of vintage ephemera and they were scanned and extracted by me. They date from the second half of the 1800s and provide a unique glimpse into the era immediately following the US Civil War.   There are two sets of images; one set of 6 images (Nos 1-6) advertise "Liebig's Fleisch Extract" (canned meat) and feature illustrations depicting scenes from the book Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe. The other set of 3 images advertise D. Crawford & Co.'s Wooden Toys. I have included the reverse of one showing the Liebig's advertising details and as a bonus I removed the text from one of the Crawford Co advertising cards.
