Here are the instructions for this month's recipe card challenge/exchange:

1. Click HERE (http://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13_189&products_id=9313) for this month's starter kit; it will be free to those who participated in the prior month's challenge. Please use this kit (or papers/elements you design in the same color palette) so the cards will "coordinate" and to ensure we don't violate other designers' TOU.

2. The general theme for this month's cards is your favorite THANKSGIVING recipes ~ the post below this one includes more information. Be creative and have fun with your cards! If you need different metal tags and don't have them from previous kits, send me an e-mail and I'll make them for you.

3. Design your recipe card(s) however you'd like. Include your name, forum name ~ whatever you want ~ on the card.

4. Create your original card at 6" wide X 4" tall (1800 and 1200 pixels) and save it as a 300 ppi jpeg, quality between 8 to 10. These are the print-quality cards that will be shared with all participants. You will also need to resize your card at 72 ppi to post in the gallery.

WHEN FINISHED with your card(s), do the following 3 things:

1. E-mail your print-quality, 300 ppi recipe card to LetMeScrapbook@hotmail.com so it can be included in the download file at the end of the month. Several participants have asked for blank copies of the cards you design, so if you're willing to send me both (with and without the words), that would be great!

2. Upload a picture of your 72 ppi card to the Recipe Card Challenge Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=1042). Please upload only your actual recipe card ~ not the blank cards.

3. Post a link here in this forum thread no later than November 30.

At the end of the month, all participants will receive a link to download all the cards created that month. Bon appétit!!

Hi, everyone. The color palette for November's starter kit is similar to this month's "mega" kit at theStudio (http://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=315_317&products_id=9278) -- a combination I probably wouldn't have come up with myself, but one that I really like!

In October, we focused on pies. For November, our challenge will be to create recipe cards to help celebrate Thanksgiving or other "feasts." Think turkey, potatoes, main or side dishes, salads, rolls, etc. Feel free to include a pie recipe if you missed last month or came up with another that you want to share. Your cards can include recipes to serve the day of or delicious ways to use up the leftovers (thanks for that idea, momsmarts).

I look forward to another month of delicious ideas! : )

This is easy. But, there are several steps. First you post your LO in the gallery. Go to the top of your screen and right click the page address and copy the whole address. It is the one that starts with http:// and is at the very top. Now go back to the forum and find the end of the thread. Click on the "Post Reply" button. When the window comes up, right click and paste. Add anything you want to say. Then click on Submit Reply at the bottom. Now you have the link to the page in the gallery where your LO is. Click on that link it will take you right to your page in the gallery. Look under your LO and find the "Direct Link" and click and drag to highlight that whole address. It will not all show, so drag until you get it all. Now right click on the highlighted area and copy. Go back to the page in the forum and find your reply. Click on edit, then on "go advanced" to get to a new window. You must be in the advanced edit for it to work. Scroll down to where you want your LO to show up and click. Look up to the line that starts with B I U and find the icon that looks like a yellow post card with a mountain on it. Click on this. A small window opens with a place for an address. Right click inside the highlighted area. Be sure it is in that area or you will not get the whole thing in. Now paste and then save your edit at the bottom of the edit area. You should have your LO show up.

Here's mine. I've decided I'm going to tole paint a recipe box to hold these. With that end in view, I made a divider card as well. I'm planning to make one to match the kit each month. I think that if I print them on card stock and then laminate them with a fairly thick laminating film, they should be fairly durable.

My goodness, where did November go? I am last minute but I got one done. I made way to many mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving this year so I made potato soup with them. What I did was a bit different but I just threw stuff in and didn't measure so I went online and found a close recipe to share. I did not use cheese or bacon. I used leftover ham and chopped it really small. I also added green beans and corn. It was very yummy :)

It wouldn't be a holiday in our house without Cranberry Bread.

Hey all! I've made it again just under the wire this month! Too many birthdays in the family circle this month on top of the holiday! Decided to go with a recipe not for leftovers but one that you may use on into the Christmas season as well. It's super easy, so I hope you enjoy this snack!

Thanks again for another wonderful month of recipe cards and ideas! I have quite a few cards to sort through in my inbox; I'll get that done within the next few days and send download links to all participants. I'll also get your December coupon code to you before the weekend is over.

And with that, this month's challenge is officially closed!
