View Full Version : February Border Challenge
02-03-2013, 05:54 PM
It's February. We are seeing pink and red everywhere. Hearts. Flowers. Ribbons. Bows. So why not here?
Your challenge this month is to great a border with any type of Valentine element in it. Anything that speaks of love and affection.
That's pretty easy, right?
Perhaps we should add a twist to it? Let's make it as easy as 1-2-3.
One of.. one item (whatever you want)
Two of.. one item (whatever you want)
Three of .. one item (whatever you want)
* You may use any kit you wish.
* Post your layout in the Surprise Me Border Challenge Gallery
* Come back here and post your preview and a link to the Surprise Me Border Challenge Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio.com/gallery/g1344-surprise-me-21-challenge.html) in this thread. This makes it super simple for us to find your layouts in the gallery, and we thank you for taking this extra step!

Oh, Nandy, this is lovely! What a darling picture! Love your clusters, and the “wave” cut out! Awesome job! (And I see little Pepe in there too!) cute, cute! Thanks for participating in the challenge!
Beautiful, Jill! And “lots of ones” is okay! I love the vintage theme you went with, and the border is just stunning! I really love the element choices you made when creating it.
What a beautiful floral border, hivart. It brings out the green in your photo just beautifully! This does look like a romantic evening out!
Diane, what a cute idea, to use the heart element as a frame! I really like how you repeated the hearts in your border, and your title is very cute

Hello alltogether, coming up with my surpiseMeBorder now and I hope my method is okay. I needed maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany elements to do my border/cluster and so I went the way in the rythym of waltz. You know?!? 1-2-3...1-2-3---
If I count the right way you will find the same number of "1", "2" and "3" elements:

Thank you all for your participation in this month's challenge! I will be setting up the March challenge later today. I am wondering if you are ready for another type of challenge now?? Have we played out the Border idea? Any suggestions on what you would like to see, if not the Border Challenge, will be greatly appreciated! See you soon!
