View Full Version : March White Space Challenge!
02-28-2013, 04:22 PM
I am posting a tad early as tomorrow could be crazy for me!
Last months challenge was OFF THE HOOK! I was totally blown away and looooooved it all! I wonder how this month will turn out?!
March is the month of 'here comes spring' - and I'm sure we are all so ready for some warmer weather! Well, unless you're already sweating, then maybe not?
This month we're going to white space a favorite flower! Do you love a rose? A pretty poppy? How about a lovely colored foxglove?! What ever the flower it is you're a sigh over, scrap it!
This month I've created a special edge for you! There's a colored version, a three tone grayscale and a standard grayscale!
They're easy to use, just work your personal magic on the overlay/opacity settings!
You can download this little freebie here:
Post your pages in the gallery here: http://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio.com/gallery/g1456-white-space-challenge.html
Post your pages here as well so we can see!
Please get your pages in by March 31st! All participants recieve and extra 10% discount on ALL of your purchases for the following month. So, if you participate this month and get a layout posted (AND post a link here in this forum), you will receive 10% off every purchase made next month! No coupons are required. The discount will automatically be applied to your purchase.
Lets knock my socks off again!!

Oh you´re fast girls, and you show wonderful flowers. I have not only one favorite flower, so I have to decide because of the typical white space. So I took the peony, the first of my favorite flowers in the year:

Ok, I didn't put much journaling, but really, the California Poppy is my favorite flower. Small and simple, but such a touch of brightness! It helps that I grew up in California. And orange is my favorite color!!

Totally fantastic pages from everyone.
I tried to maintain the 'white space' :)
I used a paper, the frame and the leaves from Daniella's (the urban fairy) Just Love Kit.

Literally threw this together as March is nearing an end in my area and April has a start in much of the world. Sorry to do this without seeking tutorials or something that would have provided some knowledge about using this type of edge. But time has flashed by for me this month. Thanks for the challenge!
