It's time to celebrate The Studio's birthday! I am bringing back the quick page exchange, where you make 1 quick page and get a bunch in return! This month we will be using my new Hoppy Spring kit. It will be on sale for 50% off this month, you will need it to participate.

https://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio.com/store/images/aw_hoppy_kit.jpg (https://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13_394&products_id=19785&zenid=9f9e234bad3719a9c908579baa91a86b)

Quick Page Exchange Rules

This is how the exchange works:
Each participant will submit one quick page layout using the featured kit and receive the other submitted layouts in exchange. Basically submit one layout/quick page and get a bunch back.
The kit has to be purchased from the store to participate in this challenge.

Guidelines:
Layouts should be created and saved at 12" x 12" and 300dpi.
Layouts must be designed with the featured kit's items only. This is to avoid any copyright infringements.
Please save them in .png format.
Quick pages must have minimal writing on them. Please leave off any titles or journaling or any wording that would limit the use of the page in any way.

Please name your files as follows: yourname_kitname_qp.png. As an example, mine would be
aw_hoppyspring_QP.png

Email your quick pages to [email protected] with QPE in the subject line.

If your email does not support larger attachments, you have a few options:
Upload it to a place like 4shared and email that link; or
Try an email account that allows larger attachments like gmail. You can even use dropbox.

Please upload your layout in YOUR gallery and copy it to my gallery. Then post your links in the forum to both your layout and the quick page so we can all ohhh and ahh.

At the end of the month I will send all participants a download link to pick up all of the quick pages submitted!

I can't wait to see what you create!

Oh my!! I'm not sure how you're going to receive this, it's my first try. I signed up for DropBox and follwed the instructions. There was never a Subject Line, please let me know how you finally get this, watch for something from Marian and or DropBox. Hope it works! Thanks for hosting the kit is adorable, it took me forever to decide which pieces to use.

Ok I uploaded my LO but it won't let me upload my png file. It is saying there is a security token missing. But I wanted to post my layout at least. Can someone help me? LOL this is the first time I have ever saved a LO as a png file & not sure if I am doing it wrong.
Here is my LO of Hoppy Spring:

Nice layouts ladies!!

Nandy, I believe I got yours
pixeedusty, I got your email with your page..are you able the "cut a hole" where the photos go in your program you work in? As far as upload problems, are you having trouble in the gallery? I don't know anything about a security token, but typically problems with loading in the gallery are size issues, if you are trying to load the full size page I don't think it will load, we have to resize it smaller to get it to show up in the gallery :)

Lovely layouts ladies, we will all have lots to make a great book with!

Amanda, I am using PSE. Not sure how I would do that, but I'll give it a try.
As far as the gallery, the only issues I am having problems with is uploading the png file. Do I just resize that in PSE as well?
Thanks!
Rhonda

I can help you make it into a quick page in PSE...if you want to send me the PSD file I can cut the holes out. And for the gallery, I would try loading a .jpeg page..so in PSE go to save for web instead of save as in the file menu, and another box will come up where you can resize it...try 600 X 600 pixels and save it as a .jpeg and that should do the trick!

is it a .png with transparancy behind it still? If so that's perfect! Hard to tell on this preview since it might be a >jpeg here in the forum :)

Oh, yes... I don't think you can upload PNG files to the gallery because they tend to be larger than the 200kb limit - just a JPEG is fine ;) then email your PNG to Amanda...

I think there is a Quickpage tutorial on our blog somewhere, I'll go hunt down a link :))

If not, I will make one!! :DD Stay tuned ;)

speaking of receiving.... Amanda, did I send you my pages? I can't remember what I did 5 minutes ago, sheesh! :duh: :P

ok so, I uploaded the jpg, that is what you see on the forum. I do have the png with the cutouts, I will re-email that to you Amanda. I think that covers it. If not, please email me & let me know.
BTW, is there a way to "subscribe" to threads on here so you know if someone else has posted on it?
Thanks everyone for so much help!
Rhonda

Yes there is a drop down that says thread tools...and you can subscribe there...you can also go into your user CP and set it to automatically subscribe you to any posts you post in as well :)
