View Full Version : Member Mega Kit Palette

Here is the palette for the Member Mega kit. For me that palette is always the starting point of a kit and I think it is one of the most important parts. I tried to pick that will be fairly easy to work with, the colors should blend easily and they go together well. To bring the colors into you document use your color picked to sample the colors and add them to you swatch palette. Please read the post " Member Mega Kit Info" (http://www.stoneaccentsstudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3024) in this thread for information about the kit. The main thing to remember about doing the SAS Member Mega kit is to have fun. Thank you so much for taking part in this. JulieO

Would someone be so kind to explain how to get this beautiful swatch into my color swatch pallette in photoshop elements 6?
This is a real learning experience for me. I have never made color swatches .

I've already saved it to my computer. Do I make a new color swatch folder out side of elements & load it when I want it or actually put it in the program files??Can I do either?/

Joba,
I use Paint Shop Pro and what I will probably do is just open the palette in my program then use my color picker in materials to change to the color I want to use in the palette. Then I'll use the Flood Fill Tool to change the color to whatever paper or element I may be creating. Hope that helps or makes sense for you using Photoshop. :o Good luck!

this is such a wondeful chanch to learn to grow. I am working on my contribution. I have never made a kit. I have 4 papers made & working on some embellishments to go with them. I've never worked with a color swatch other than to open the pallet to pick a color.

I right click and save to my SAS file folder. When I open my Adobe program, I open that file. Then I use the eyedropper tool to select the color - and off you go.

As I sit here waiting on Hurrican Ike to make it's way toward the Upper Texas Gulf Coast, I made some Quick Pages using items made by Boo of BooLandDesigns and Her Blossoms, Lara's Digi WOrld, LynnCal and myself. I am sure there will be more kits and gifts from the Blossoms as the month goes on.Link to my preview http://www.stoneaccentsstudio.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=22213&ppuser=60

Here's mine
Rose (http://www.stoneaccentsstudio.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=22842&limit=recent)
This is my very first attempt to make a minikit & first time using a color pallet.
It was a real learning experience.Hope it is ok. I checked it & everything seems to be ok as far as size etc. I haven't tried to download it from 4share site.will do that to make sure that works.thank you for letting me learn. It was more work than I thought.I could make papers all day long but elements--well I need to learn to make more than tags ,buttons & brads.lolollo. I do have some great tuts to make frames & other elements but for today just learning to label each piece ,make a preview, tou & upload to a sharing site is enough to do.

Downloaded from 4share with no problems

What a beautiful color palette, and the contributions are incredible!

I have never made a kit (started out with digital scrapbooking only a few months ago), but I'll see if I can whip up something decent, even if it's only an alpha. :o :D
