We had SNOW today!

We just came in, warming up w/some hot cocoa & then I'm sure we'll be back out because.... we've got SNOW! And a snow day! We get more snow days here than in Minnesota. My poor 16-yr-old though not only already had the day off, but he is sick to boot. So not fair.

The baby was absolutely stunned by the change in his beloved "outside" and very hesitant. But once he braved the white, he was pretty happy. Except the clumps of snow on his boots, and my shoes, that had to come off as soon as it was on LOL. Once inside he refused to give up the snow pants. Those are warm & toasty & staying on. Probably all day.

Anyway, while they hot-chocolated (and I coffeed) I did some LO's w/the pictures because I've turned into a scrapbooking freak. I had to share my words somewhere LOL.

Wow, you got snow in North Carolina! Certainly that can't happen very often. I would love to send you some of mine, form New Hampshire... we've got piles, and piles and piles... blech. :p

WE got over 54 inches in Dec which is a lot for us and I think is has snowed just about every day in Jan too with very cold temps. THere is nothing like watching a child discover snow for the first time though!!! ;)

We have so much snow here, our road is covered with about a 6" thick sheet of packed snow/ice!! The kids love it when we drive over the "bumps" because it makes their voice "sound funny"! :rolleyes: Mom doesn't like it too much, makes me have to pee! :p Yes, we live in the "poor" section of town, they don't plow too often because we don't pay taxes!! hehehehe..... :D

Now, if I were to write that we had snow, it would REALLY be an event. lol. And you could be sure I'd be a scrapping fool. Love the layouts. The frozen toys are a hoot!
