Hello there Ladies,
I'm stealing this post from Kimberkatt who stole it from Toiny who stole it from Tracy!!! Who says it sooooooo well, lol :DD
Thursday's Chat will be a speed scrap, lots of fun and giggles at these kinds of scraps so if you can find the time to be free at 9.30pm EST come along and play. I will be giving you your steps and you will get a page done. I will also be posting the steps in the forum for those that want to play along a little later.
How it works:
You are given a step about every 10 minutes in the chat room across one hour then you have another hour to post your layout in the speed scrap gallery Day 4 and post the link from the address bar at the top of your browser back here in this thread.
If you don't have a particular thing I ask you to add to your page you can improvise with something similar. It's all about the fun remember!!
I hope you all can find the time to come along and play today!
I will be giving away a little freebie during the chat but you must be there to get it :DD
Only 3 hrs to go!!!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Chose a background paper and one photo, place the Photo in the centre of the page in two different ways ie: one color one b/white or one normal one faded into background (be creative)
2. Find two long elements ie: ribbon, border or cut your own strips from a different paper and place across the centre of the page (horizontally) under the photos (unless you have a blended photo, lol)
3. Add some foliage (or similar) both under and around different parts of your photo/photos to create a cluster base, you may use as many as you like.
4. Add a string or curly ribbon mingled with the foliage
5. Find an element or two that ‘dangles’ and hang it from your cluster of foliage ie: charm, tag or jewel.
6. Add a few small elements to your cluster ie: buttons, bows, flowers beads, trying to centre mainly on the centre but you can scatter gently outwards and have peek-a-boo bits.
7. Add a title or wording to your layout, high middle on the right hand side.
8. Add a little journaling to the bottom left hand side or on your tag.
9. Finish off by shadowing appropriately and tweaking where desired.
