Thanks, I emailed this so I will (hopefully) remember when things slow down for me in a couple weeks. But how does this work? I've never done anything like these things before! I create an account, and then I drop a photo into the projects, or do they give a template to work with? Have you used this company before?

Yes, I've used Artscow before for photobooks and, I must say, they came out beautiful! Quality of paper is not as great as Shutterfly's, but it's still good! And the pages came out fantastic! The only problem I have with them is shipping time... it took 6 weeks to get my books!! But, I was ordering around Holiday time (which is NOW!) and they do say to figure 4-8 weeks for delivery (they are shipping from Hong Kong)

Go to artscow.com and create your account. On the account info screen, there will be a "Credit & Validate" link, click that then enter the code in the box and click Validate. It will add the credits to your account and give you the expiration date of the credits.

YOU MUST VALIDATE THE CODE BEFORE THE EXPIRATION DATE OF OCT. 5!!! Or the code will expire and you won't get your credits... ;) After you validate, you will have 30 days to use your credits before they expire...

Once you create an account there, you should receive all the free credit offers through your email... they are ALWAYS sending out free credits for something... you get the items free, but you still have to pay shipping and handling per item you order...;)

Oh, right... yes... most items they have templates for and you just drag & drop your images/photos, move/resize to your liking and voila! It's pretty easy, really! :DD

Thank you, I'm going to (try to) do this. Homeschooling and getting ready for MIL is keeping me pretty busy right now....hopefully I don't forget all about it (what usually happens, lol)!
Can you ship to separate addresses?

uh, that I'm not too sure about... I would assume you could if they are separate orders... I believe when you validate the code, each item will be a separate credit, so you can order them separately... but, don't quote me on that, I wasn't planning on using the code here, so I didn't validate... :o

Thank you Kim!! I just signed up and checked them out for the first time. I've heard many good things about ArtsCow, and you're opinion is one I definitely respect, so I had to break down and give them a try! So many great Christmas ideas running around in my head right now!

Thank you Nani! :XX

I was apprehensive about ordering with them at first because they're always handing out free credits for stuff, but they have quickly become very popular within the last year, and I hear nothing but good stuff about them, so I decided to give it a go!

I had 20pg, 8X8 photobook credits, so I took a bunch of my layouts, resized to 7.5X7.5 with a .5" border around where I extended my background for the bleed, and they came out great! And that was winging it! LOL!

Only other thing is you do have to pay shipping on EACH item... it was $7.99 shipping for each book I ordered, but I figured $8 for a nice photobook is a steal!! :DD

I ordered a few photo prints with a free offer of our trip to Ireland , they were among the best I have had printed -- Again the only downside is the shipping time so plan accordingly -- but they are worth it:)

Thanks for the coupon code, normally I get email notifications, wonder why I did not this time?
