I used to post here about 2 or 3 years ago. I had computer problems & then moved to Brazil. It took us almost a year to get set up on the internet here (the price of living on the beach;) ). In the move I lost all my kits, fonts, & even PSCS2 :( . I am now back online, set up with PSCS4, & ready to start all over again.
I look worward to getting aquainted/reaquainted with everyone. :DD

Thanks ladies. I appreciate the warm welcome.
Toiny, yep Brazil! We live about 400 Km from the beach, on the top of a hill. It is beautiful. I will have to scrap a page of my new view. We have been here for a week & one year now. There were a lot of factors that played into the decision to move, but the main reason is Carlos work. He works for the federal govt here, a BIG step up from stocking shelves at Wal Mart. That allows me to stay home with the preschooler, and to be here when the kids get home from school. I still dont speak/read Portuguese so work would be difficult. I love it here. My boys also have a dream of becoming professional soccer players so where better for them to train in their formitive years than the 'land of soccer'?
I enjoy reading about you & your family in the NL Toiny, thanks for sharing it with everyone :XX

Oh YAY Brenda! I can't wait to see your pictures & LO's. It sounds like the perfect move for your family. My kids are pretty into soccer since moving to Germany as well ;P Maybe someday they'll compete against yours in worldcup. Wouldn't that be hysterical?

Learning a new language is hard at any age, but over 40 it's just head-bangingly difficult. It helped that I already knew Dutch, but I'm still struggling with the German & learning new words, phrases and how not to stay stuff every day.

Big smooches,

T
