Hi all,
If you don't want to play along in our chat, or you missed it, please follow along here & post in the gallery (link coming after chat).
Speed Scrap – Create a “January” Calendar Page
1. Choose 1 (big) photo and edit it to your taste. Place it 1/3 from the bottom and center of your page. You may add a frame, not required.
2. Choose 2 papers for the background. Pick the boring one for the background, the 2nd should be on the bottom 1/3 of your paper.
3. Place a ribbon/rickrack/stitches (heck, use all 3) or cut a 3rd piece of paper to cover the seam (that the two papers formed).
4. Now add snowflakes to both sides of your photo creating a cluster arrangement. HINT: use these the same as you would flowers!
5. Add up to 5 complementary winter elements (mittens, gloves, snowmen, sleds, hot cocoa?).
6. Title your layout using an alpha, or create one by clipping a matching paper to your favourite font.
7. Journal a block, or just a word, in a completely new-to-you font!
Be sure to post in the gallery by NOON on Sunday, July 24 (EST) to qualify for a small prize!
