October Heritage Challenge This is my lst time for this challenge. I uploaded my LO, and I think it is in cyberspace. I am hunting it down now. I noticed it put Heritage LO of Month - so changed it to Heritage Challenge but when it showed the gallery it was nowhere to be found. Since I have been looking for sometime - I will try to upload again. Well, I found out what happened. I changed from Heritage LO of month to heritage challenge + users gallery and it didn't tell me that wasn't allowed & just didn't go. For those of you who would like to just have a copy of a census page to work into your lo - the usgenweb census project has images available for several states/localities. I donated a cd of 1860 Henderson Co Illinois to this archive - http://www.usgwarchives.net/il/henderson/census/1860/ Also - please check with your local library here in the states - many of them have online access to Heritage Quest - sometimes even at home if you have a library card. Hope these suggestions help. Connie |

This looks like a great challenge and the LOs done so far are really interesting to look at.  Unfortunately, I don't have U.S. ancestors so I won't be able to particpate in this challenge.  Maybe the next one. |

Ok, since this was my idea to scrap records, I felt I HAD to do this challenge. It had nothing at ALL to do with the fact that I LOVE the Heritage challenge. LOL! Just kidding. But I was one of the ones who suggested this topic because I have so many people that all I have is their census records, no pics of them. So thanks, Jan for doing this one.
