Easy Halloween Craft?

I'm leading Dane's kindy (preschool) class in a Halloween craft. Does anyone have an easy, fun one? With easily obtained supplies?

We don't have access to a ton of Halloween-specific supplies here.

Thanks!

I just had a look at some other things I did with Su and their friends when they were younger:

Marshmallow Ghosts Lollies

Jack-o-lantern Jars

Button Spiders (sorry, they look a little squashed in the pic, but I couldn't find another one) and finger cookies

I've got 21 kids... I think the jars would be great, but not sure where I'd get 21 within my budget. The ghosts might work!

ask the kids to bring them from home - perfectly acceptable for Kindergarten activities here - empty pickle or Rotkohl jars work well :)

Do I have enough time before Wednesday? If I send the note with Dane on Monday? I really like the painting a jar idea.

Oh, I just remembered something else... don't think I have a pic... you take a little ball (table tennis ball or a wad of newspaper), put it in the middle of a paper hankie, fold up the hankie and tie it. Turn the whole thing around and paint a face on your little ghost. You can either put them on a stick or attach a string and use them as hangers.

Or make little ghosts out of "Schokoküsse", let me see, I should have a pic of those...

.. let's see: they get the note on Monday. They have to buy the pickles, fill them in another container and clean the jar. That should be totally doable until Wednesday...;)
