March PS - QP Exchange
 

This is the thread to sign up for a quickpage exchange. If you sign up here in this thread I will know to expect your QP and can get back to you if it should disappear on the way to my inbox.

Here are the rules, please read carefully!

If you want to participate, do the following:

Take your day 7 layout - you may change it, add or take away elements if you want to-, cut a hole in it (digitally, LOL) where the picture(s) is supposed to go. Your QP doesn't need to be the exact day 7 layout, if you want to remove or add elements that's okay, but only for the QP exchange, not for your day 7 poll entry!!!!

Save this layout as .png and mail it to me - mailofmin(at)gmail(dot)com - until Thursday, March, 22nd, midnight EST.

Important: For this QP exchange the layout you send me needs to be 12 x 12 in in size at 300 dpi resolution! The file size can be around 20 MB.
If you prefer sending me a download link, that's fine, as well.

I will collect all the pages, zip them up and send you the download links so you will end up with an album of beautiful coordinated pages.

Attention, please - the question about the size of the layouts that qualify for QP Exchange has been brought up a couple of times in the last months. So here's a question for you: Should we stick to the 12 x 12 in requirement or open the QP exchange for different size layouts, as well (300 dpi will stay as a requirement, regardless of the page dimensions). Please participate in the above poll. Thank you!

For me I prefer 12X12 as I can resize to 8X8 for my albums.

It is my opinion that people are more creative when working in the size of there albums. There have been many wonderful 8.5 x 11 LO. I believe we miss out by be restrictive in size. Why not put the odd sizes in a separate zip so those that do not want them do not have to download them. This also helps to organize the QP once we have them.

Personally, I find it easier to put a smaller QP on to a 12x12 rather then trying to down size a 12x12 to 8.5 x11 or 8x8.
Sliding a smaller size onto a bigger paper keeps the picture the same size. For me this is much faster since I like my LO to focus on the Picture.

I scrap in 8.5x11 usually, but this give me a chance to stretch myself and make a page that I can adapt from 12x12 to 8.5x11. I'd happy either way you go with it, and I'm sending my QP now! :)

Karen, I think you may have forgotten to post in the day 6 thread, that's why you didn't get the link.

With so many ppl at different days in the PS, I'm relying on the posts in the forum, to stay current with who is needing what downloads. If I tried to do that by looking at the gallery where all the days are mixed up (and some are posted in the personal galleries only) I would get hopelessly lost, LOL.

My day 7 is up, though without a title. I'll participate unless the computer goes down first. I haave a new internal hard drive sitting her to go in, but my personal IT guy (think oldest son) doens't have it on the top of his priority list. lol Trust me Min I am the Queen of Oops. Its my favorit statement. I think my brain is becoming a sieve!

Sent the March QP Link to your email. There is also Feb.zip in there if you want it. I downloaded the March QP to make sure it was correct.

I personally prefer 12x12, but I don't think it should be limited to one size. If someone uses 8.5x11 and wants our pages that are 12x12, I'm cool with that. :)
