Build a Gingerbread House - Day 5
 

Welcome to the last day of the Build-a-Gingerbread-House PS!

And did you all build some fantastic houses!!!! I was not sure how this challenge would turn out, it's always exciting and a little bit scary to try out something new. But I should have know not to be scared, lol - because you ladies are all fantastically talented! I'm stunned and lost for words when I look at the gallery - YOU ROCK!!!:))

But...it did leave me with a tiny, little problem: Your pages already look so complete, I couldn't think of much to add for today... :o... so I hope you will not be disappointed, if your last download will be a little smaller... (and if you really miss a special element... I'm only a pm away;))

Your task for today: Finish off your project - pages, houses, castles, mansions, villas, advent calendars, barns (did I forget something?) - any way you want! Add things, move things, delete things, recolor, replace, resize... do as you wish! :DD

Save your work and post it in the Christmas in July gallery and leave a link here in this thread!

Thanks so much for the wonder gingerbread boy & boy and smoke and all the wonderful items. Here is my final layout. I am going to print it out and glue it to a magnetic board and use a magnet with a Gingerbread button glued on top of it to count down the days.

... or you could print it a second time, but this time with pics in the windows instead of numbers (actually you just have to print the windows). Then carefully cut the windows on the "number version" on three sides and glue the "picture" version behind it - no glue on the windows, lol. That way you can open one window every day and get a little surprise (and getting it ready now will help you forget what pics you put there until Dec 1st, lol).

Here's my final. I decorated your tree and changed out the Christmas tree from yesterday and made the reindeer into a dog. Great fun! Thanks so much for this cute challenge.

This has been a fabulous progressive. Have to admit by step 2, I was almost ready to quit as I wasn't sure that I liked what I had started. Now I am thrilled with how it turned out. Thinking I may use it for the front of a Christmas Card. :w

Wow... you gals blow me away with all your fantastic and creative ideas in making your gingerbread houses, castles, advent calenders, etc. It was fun playing along with your all.

And, Min... please tell Toiny and the crew how much fun this Christmas in July has been. Would love to do this type of event again. Thanks to all for the hard work in making this such a sucess.

Wow, everyone did an awesome job on this progressive. Love, love all the different houses. I think I will tweak mine later and make a xmas card out of it. Min, today's download was perfect! Loved the trees and gingerbread people.

Min, all of your goodies are just fabulous, and how much fun I'm having building my North Pole Village. Love this download!! Was just wondering if we might be able to have a QP and hybrid exchange if anyone else wants to do so?

Well here is my day 5. I had so much fun putting this together and just as much fun looking at everyones pages. Thanks so much for the downloads. By the way Min, Santa says thanks to the mouse in your Merry Christmouse kit for lending him a hat.
