Layout Contest Week 3
 

Welcome to our third challenge! The layouts so far have blown me away! I can't wait to see what you do this week!

You will be PM'd a coupon code to pick up Indian Summer - a collab by Carin Grobe Designs (Deli Scraps by Min) and JanetB designs. This is a beautiful fall/autumn collection full of beautiful and rich colors.

A reminder that templates are not allowed, that was just special for last week. We want to see what you can do on your own.

Your challenge for the week is to really show what this kit can do. You must use a minimum of 4 papers and 10 different elements on your layout in some way.

You may use fonts for titling and journaling, please credit them. You MAY NOT use fonts for creating shapes etc. You may clip papers to fonts to make them match your layout.

You MUST properly credit your layout including a link to where customers can find the kit. You will be eliminated if you do not properly credit your layout.

Layouts for this round are due September 19 23:59 pm Studio time (EST)

No, not for this - just the kit.

Yes, as long as they are shapes included with your software or created by you. Nothing that requires extra credits with your layout.

Sorry but another question. I live in Florida so I don't really have any fall photos if I wanted to do a typical fall layout. Can we use stock photos?

I'm sorry, but you may NOT use stock photos. There are too many copyright issues associated with these. It will be an extra challenge to make a layout work without a typical fall photo! Good luck.

**I also believe that members of theStudio CT are not allowed to use stock photos, and most designers don't allow that either because of copyright issues. Since CT layouts are technically commercial, as they are used for advertising, this violates most stock photo TOU. It's not worth the risk to any CT member or designer.

Nope, see...this is a fall or harvest kit, which is when the harvest moon comes around.....OK, that's a stretch, but there was only so far I could take the moon theme, while giving you guys variety and seeing what you can do!

Gorgeous kit and i'm with Jill...got to find photos. Last year and now this one we have had no spring or fall (and i'm in TN) but it wouldn't matter as i can not stand FALL <ducking> its only because it reminds me winter is coming LOL

so i'll just find a beautiful photo to use that isn't fall related :) looking forward and so glad to be moving on!

I'm in FL too, think outside the box as to what is fall. I'm using a picture I took in March but no one would guess.
