Me, Myself and I November 2012 Hello and welcome back to Me, Myself and I challenge. A new month and a new theme to let us know. This month the theme is: November 2012: "I can deal with anything as long as I have the right shoes!" Simple rules: - Scrap JUST about you - At least a title - Journaling (long or short) - You Can Use Any digital items from designer. I hate shoes...they are foot bondage. Can "the right shoes" be a euphemism for something more pleasant? :)

Our pup destroyed my favorite shoes.. so now what will I do? hahahahaaha and of course I can not seem to find any photos of me wearing what I like, except for in my son's graduation photos.. But the colors of the kit don't fit the photos.. DECISIONS DECISIONS!!!!!!!!!! *LOL*

Well, I can't wear my favorite shoes never again, so I will make a bunch of imagination for this month challenge. Maybe I'll journal why I didn't use my favorites anymore :( So girls, squeeze your brain ;)

OOPS, I goofed. I see it was suppose to be about me. Oh well, my daughter and great-grandson are about me! But---back to the drawing board to do another layout.

WOW--never dreamed this challenge would take me in this direction! I just wanted to research something about wearing the right pair of shoes and came across this poem. In fact, I found a few different versions of it, all with "author unknown". It could apply to all moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, and anyone else who has lost a loved one and has to wear those shoes of loss.

Three years ago I was feeling like crap and always sleeping. My friend suggest going to the doctors.Personaly I hate doctors but figure I would go, after three months of been Dr. Lee's pin cushion she told me I had lupus and there is no cure for it. All I could like of was "what the **** was lupus?" Well Dr. Lee told me lupuswas a chronic autoimmune disease, which causes inflammation of various parts of the body, especially the skin, joints and kidneys. It may also affect the blood. The immune system normally protects the body against viruses, bacteria and other foreign invaders. In an autoimmune disease like lupus, the immune system loses its ability to tell the difference between foreign substances and its own cells and tissues. The immune system then makes antibodies directed against the body itself. Well she put me on a few drugs and a new diet. Over the last three years I have been losing my eyesight and my kidneys are going bad. Each day is a struggle to get out of bed, my joints ache so much.Some days I just stay and bed and grab my laptop to join me. I always wake up with a head ache that could take a few hours to get rid of. One thing that came out of this was my relationship with god had became stronger and each day I thank him for giving me strength to fight this battle.
