Hi from Mississippi

My name is Candy and I have looked around the SAS site for some time and decided to join in the forum. I have been playing with my pictures on the computer for a few years now but have not gotten into "serious" scrapping until recently. I have used Digital Image Pro for several years making pages with the installed graphics and I have used a few scrapbooking programs like Scrapbook Factory to make pages. I took the plunge a few months ago and got PSE 5. I found it quite confusing (of course) and read many tutorials to figure out how to make a page. I was quite inspired by the April Color Challenge kit that Boo made and decided it was time to jump on in. I have my first "real" page done now and hope to post it in the challenge section soon. I'm so proud of myself! LOL. I live in Mississippi and I have one little girl who is six years old. Of course, she is the subject of ALL my scrapping.

Hi Candy and Welcome! I am trying to learn PSE 6 after only using PSP and it can be confusing. Glad you jumped in here and will look forward to watching your gallery fill with pages!

Hi!
Congratulations on getting your first real page done! PS Elements can be a challenge at first but usually it is a matter of keeping track of what layer you have active. That seems to be the most confusing part for most new users. I know you will master it soon and will really love it!! Be sure to check out the PS Elements users forums at Adobe for the best tutorials and advice anywhere on the web! :)
