Round 2 winners& Explanation, Please Read
We have a very talented group of designers that are moving on, they are. In the last round there was some question as to whether or not the clusters and QPs should be included in the 15 to 20 elements. My original instructions did not specify whether or not they did and the questions were asked and answered later in the thread. I really feel that it creates a problem when questions are asked and answered later in a thread because everyone does not have time to keep coming back and checking things so they go on what they read originally, plus with such an international forum English in not always the first language of many members. We have three kits in this round that have too many elements. Floral Fantasy by Mitsybelle will move on because there were 22 elements so I will give her the benefit of the doubt and assume that she thought the clusters and QP were not included. Unfortunately Just Jazzin' by Marta Van Eck had 26 elements and Elegance by MoMo had 24, even considering the clusters and QPs they are still over.

Thank you Ladys, I look forward to what you do in round 3. JulieO

Hey Donna....looks like momo had too many elements in her kit and that's why she's not on the list. What a shame!

MoMo 09-18-2008 02:33 PM

I am so lost,, I didn't know the 2 cluster elements counted as the 20 elements.

wimpychompers 09-18-2008 02:42 PM

Congrats ladies, I look forward to this next round. I'm so sorry that those two kits went over the limits... ugh...

MoMo 09-18-2008 03:12 PM

Well after recounting my items,, I so screwed myself..... Teach me to triple check stuff from now on...
I was over by one,. cause I had made a frame to use on my quick page. so with counting it and the 2 cluster elements, I was over by 3. I didn't understand the 2 cluster elements was suppose to count in the 20 elements. So my mistake. I did not do it on purpose, I swear.
This was my first contest to ever be in, and it has for sure been a learning experience.
Thank you to all who has supported me during the contest.
Congrats to everyone that made it,, Best of luck to ya.

Congrats to all that are moving on to the third round. Sorry to those that did not make it as there is so much talent here. Also sorry that I did not get to vote as I had read that it closed 9/18 at 5:50 PM. I'm on central time and it is 3:55 here, so I guess I don't know what the time is at the SAS headquarters.

Condolences to all who did not make it into round 3. The kits in rounds 1 and 2 were all so awesome and it is a shame that eliminations have to happen at all. I hope you all will continue with your designing because you all rocked sas these past two weeks with your talents. I look forward to seeing your designs in the forums and galleries across the digiscrapping community. Many Hugs and best of luck to you all.

As for round 3, here we go again lol. Challenge of challenges!!
Good luck to all who will have sleepless nights for the next week.
Tracy

I"m in! I didn't think I would be. I'm sure in a week I will be joining those to whom, I am wishing condolences. These were all excellent kits!

Nani 09-18-2008 07:40 PM

Iím not extending condolences to those who arenít going on to round three. You are ALL winners as far as Iím concerned! Every one who put their creative work out there has learned and gained much, and it took guts to do it! Bravo ladies! See you next year?? :)

The kits in the first two rounds were great and I know it was difficult to choose for whom I voted as a contestant, I can only imagine what the non-contestants went through! (I am assuming that for every one of us designing in this contest, one of our choices was easy! -smiles-) I hope all of you will take me up on the offer to join our blog party after the contest is done!

Huge thanks to everyone who voted for Digitalegacies, and to anyone who thought about it, but chose another kit. I know my kits were downloaded more than I got votes, so I know I was in consideration by many and I thank you! In fact, remember that if you send me a layout you did in any part with one of my kits, I have another kit for you for free! See my blog for details!

And now, let the creating take 3 commence!

sharpli 09-18-2008 07:50 PM

I whole heartedly agree with Nani. You ALL did a wonderful job and it will be fun to see what Round 3 brings.

Thank you for all of the goodies I've downloaded.

Monika 09-19-2008 12:23 AM

Congratulations to everyone for just taking that first step and entering this contest. I know I almost didn't... this being my first contest it's a great learning experience (and "speed designing", lol). I've seen many beautiful kits here, and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with in the next round! Good luck everyone!

roseysunflower 09-19-2008 01:29 AM

Everyone worked so hard on their kits, they should be proud of themselves no matter what. It takes a lot of guts to do what ALL you ladies do. You are sharing a piece of yourself with every single kit that is put up. That's courageous and should be applauded.

So here is my round of applause for everyone who worked so hard and did their best. Whether or not you moved on, you are STILL a winner.

Congratulations to EVERYONE!!! Please keep up the beautiful work.

marta_van_eck 09-19-2008 02:14 AM

Good luck....
Ok. I don't really understand the whole thing with "elements" - too much , too few ? if our kits were not correct about the count of elements why we have to wait till voting? Wouldn’t It Be more fair to eliminate us before the voting start??? But ...ok. Just wish good luck to those who are still in :)

Susanne79 09-19-2008 02:13 PM

Congrats ladies. You all did a one heck of a job!

Joba2 09-19-2008 05:46 PM

My heart goes out to the two contestants that were over on the element count.
