October 2008 - My SAS-y Self Challenge

I could hardly wait to get this posted for October's challenge, because this is going to be really fun.

CHALLENGE: Create a layout showing your different hairstyles over the years. Yes, you'll need photos for this one! I had a blast going through my older photos and some chuckles, too - I'm sure you will as well.

The challenge will through October 31. Please use a kit from the SAS-y store (or any freebie by an SAS designer) to create your layout, post to the My SAS-y Self gallery, and come back to this forum to post a link to the gallery so we can all ooh-and-aah over what you made!

This month's posting bonus kit is called "Friendship Brew" - a great kit for celebrating special friendships shared over coffee (or tea). Here's my contribution and the posting bonus for this challenge:

Okay, ready... set... go - this is going to be a hoot!

Oh, the timing of this challenge is perfect. My almost 18 year old, granddaughter just got her hair colored and her Dad, my son, told her "You are just like your grandma, when I was growing up, I never knew what her hair color would be from one day to the next!" Actually Nicole took that as a compliment!!! Gotta go looking for pictures.

Well I didn't have many different hairstyles. Allways long blond hair apart from when I was 3 or so. See what I can et up with

DarleneH 10-03-2008 09:08 PM

What? No big 80's hair? :)

This should be a short list....then again, who knows what my mom did to my hair when I was little...time to raid her photo albums lol

Just wanted to check if it would be okay to use kits from the SAS-y designer challenge, even if the designers weren't chosen in the end?

DarleneH 10-06-2008 11:31 AM

Hmmm... good question and I had not even thought about that since it wasn't an option until this month. I would say yes, go ahead and use a kit from the contest because you got the links from the SAS site initially. Just be sure you credit the kit designer. :)
