November 2008 - My SAS-y Self Challenge
 

November is here, and that makes me think of Thanksgiving, and that makes me think of family. So here's the your theme for November:

CHALLENGE: Create a layout about family. It doesn't necessarily have to be Thanksgiving-related, just include family photo.

The challenge will through November 29. Please use a kit from the SAS-y store (or any freebie by an SAS designer) to create your layout, post to the My SAS-y Self gallery, and come back to this forum to post a link to the gallery so we can all ooh-and-aah over what you made!

Here is the layout I made for this challenge. I actually made this for my stepsons, because it has their mother in the photo before she passed away. (So it's my family, too, through my stepsons and husband.)

You mean my avatar pic? Nah, not a new haircut. That pic is actually a couple of years old and my hair is longer now. I just had to throw something in there quickly once I took my Halloween avatar down, and that photo was already small enough.

Oh, I just saw Pixel's and Jan's layouts - beautiful work, ladies!

I love the posting bonus kits this month and had to use the ones I got early right away. These are pics of one of our family tree's branches. This would be the wild/crazy/fun side.
