Adding a picture or blinkie from photobucket
I had a request about this so I thought the easier way to tell you all how to use photobucket was to do some screen captures of the process. I think you will all be wanting to do this if you are entered in round 3 Blinkie contest :)
Adding a picture from photobucket to your posts in the forum log into photobucket account click on upload to get your images http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...-capture_a.jpg add any info you want here then click on return to album http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...t-capture1.jpg Copy the code to your clipboard like this, hover over the image you want and click on the indicated code it should automatically copy to your clipboard, now go to where you want to put the picture in the post http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...t-capture3.jpg click on the little mountain and moon picture indicated below and when the box comes up erase the http:// part and paste in your link from your clipboard, hit ok http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...-capture_4.jpg Now your image should be in your post, it will have [img] [/img] tags around it. And that's how you put the pictures in your posts from photobucket :) Hope this helps anyone having trouble doing this Tracy |
Here's my first attempt for this challenge
http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...round3SAS9.gif There isn't a thread to post previews for the blinkie challenge so I put it here. Also I do not know how to post it to the gallery. Coping & pasting the image code from photobuckets in the browse section does not work. It proceeses the image for ever & I eventually quit. And when I try to upload the blinkie from my computer I get an invalid window saying something like gif is not a valid upload. I am wondering if I change my blinkie to a jpeg to upload to gallery will it blink? And how do you get the image without the letters{/ img }before & after the image in the post?? |
Okay I have pm'd Toiny about the gallery.
Awesome job by the way. Oh and there's a thread for your previews now too. Regarding the gallery, until it gets sorted out, you could put them into your pictures and albums section of your user cp where you edit your avatar etc and it will give you the code below the image once you have your blinkie uploaded, plus it has an area for comments too, but you would have to post the link here. I am hoping you can all put them in the gallery cause they'll get more exposure that way!!! Good Luck :) Tracy |
Sorry guys! My bad. Gif files requires an upgrade of our gallery software. On my list of things to do...
In the meantime lets' just post the blinkies here in the forum. Tracy is way ahead of me:p Woooooooohoooooooooo! Smooches, Toiny |
Great job on the first blinkie!
