Personal Notes from the Piggy - NL Comments

I had to start this... well, because I know Toiny must get a TON of emails after the Newsletter goes out about her ramblings... which are just so entertaining, aren't they? :DD And, the fact, that I like to comment on them and thought some of you would like to, too!

This last one had me chuckling for quite a bit! My daughter (turns 4 next weekend) quite frequently tells me that she doesn't like me anymore and I'm "not my Supa Mom any-mo, you a bad Mommy!" because I won't let her play in the medicine cabinet with all of daddy's shaving supplies! :rolleyes: Or smear ink all over the carpet! :rolleyes: Or douse herself with the Vicks! :rolleyes:

But, the best one came from my son (the 5 yo) when I wouldn't let him play his game because he was being naughty earlier in the day...In his words:

"That's it! I'm sick of this house! I'm ordering new parents on the internet! I want a Mommy who lets me play games AND be naughty!" {insert grumpy, pout face & crossed arms here}

ahhhhh....... kids! Toiny.... wanna trade? ROFL! :l

It's amazing and sometimes so very funny what kids can say. I love the internet!!
So here's a little story from me. We have bought a new toilet seat the other day. My son (8 years old) asked me if he could have the broken one. He spent hours making a present for me from the toilet seat. Yesterday my husband talked to the kids about buying me some present (it's my birthday friday). My son said: "Do you realy think I'm gonna waste any money on mum, I've already made her a present myself. That is so much cheaper!!!!"

Don't you just love those kids, LOL

Oh those stories are too funny!!! My oldest is starting to say more. It kills me at 5 she already starts this?? This week we went to the zoo with her preschool. Most of the kids & their moms had already left, and we just spent several hours walking around. My 5 yo, 3 yo, and 22 month old who did not want to stay in his stroller anymore. As many of you know, I've had pneumonia, and I just do not have the energy back yet so after several hours of trying to keep the three of them to stay together, I was ready to go. My oldest daughter was not! She said "if you make us leave now, Mommy, I will NEVER talk to you again. I mean it! I will never talk to you again, except when I need to eat. That is it!" That lasted all of two minutes when she saw we were still leaving:)

Kim - I love that you started this, I so love Toiny's ramblings and today's, of course, I think we have all heard. I now have both of mine saying those exact words. However, the internet mommy I think is the best one I've heard yet!

Children definitely say the darnedest things.... My DD says to me today: "I a little girl, you a biiiiiiiiggggggg Momma!" My reply: "You're lucky your a little girl, no one else would get away with saying that to me!" Her reply: "But I luz my big Momma, is not bad to be big Mommy" What can ya do?! :)

Ha ha ..... my 4 y/o has taken to singing and dancing with the girls, his favorite is One Time by Justin Beiber, so funny to watch him sing it but funnier still is when he was sat there drawing next to me and started singing (at the top of his little lungs) .. 'I am a woman, on a mission ... whoa' !!!! LOLOLOLOL oh now that's a worry :DD

Kids have been doing things like this for a long time. When my grandson was five years old (he is now 18, they do grow up) he was with me in the car. As we passed through an intersection he made a rather rude gesture out the window. I really fussed at him for that and he said "You are supposed to do that in the car. My daddy does it all the time." My son-in-law claimed not to know what he was talking about.

These stories are so great! Too Funny Jimmyrose!!!! So, when my oldest was about 5 I left her with my Grandma (Nini) for a few hours. When I come to pick her up, Nini meets me at the door saying "You're going to have your hands full with that one, Desiree Ann". Nini told her she could play out front as long as she didn't put one foot in the street. And when she is caught playing in the street she tells Nini "But I don't have ONE foot in the street, I have BOTH!! Nini was right.... my hands have been very full!!!

HAHAHA - That is totally something my daughter would say, Des! And, yes, she is a handful! :l

Jimmyrose... my son has been caught telling my daughter to "shut up" and when asked where he heard that, he says with a big grin "Daddy, of course!" :rolleyes: Must have been one of those times he was grumpy with me & the kids overheard! LOL!!

Oh, ya - I know that pout, especially if one of us is using the forbidden "p" word (preteen - although I have to admit I love to use it on purpose, sometimes, LOL)
