Instructions for the Quick Page Exchange
Hey all... Toiny here posting for the lovely Linda. No worries she'll be back here in a day or so!
Hi Ladies! My name is Linda Cumberland and I am one of your designers here at Digital Scrapbooing Studio. I am so excited to be hosting your Quick Page Exchange Challenge this month. And what a great month to be creating and sharing as this is Digital Scrapbooking Studio's BiRthDaY!!! Happy Birthday Digital Scrapbooking Studio! Now, the wonderful thing about this challenge... besides the fun of creating your gorgeous Layouts... EVERYONE WINS!! At the end of the month each of you will be receiving ALL of the Quick Pages created during this challenge. How great is that!! So, now to the techy stuff.. LoL! Here is how it works... Basically, you will be creating a Quick Page.. :) 1.) Pick up the Page Kit, "Harvest Harmony,." from the store HERE This kit will be on sale for $2.00 all month long! 2.) Create a beautiful Layout using this Page Kit and only this Page Kit. ( only items from Harvest Harmony - no other extras) 3.) Turn your Layout into a Quick Page, upload to Media Fire, and send the link to lindafl07@hotmail.com Please be sure to place in the topic of your email - "Quick Page Exchange Challenge." This is important so that I don't miss any of your quick pages.. :) 4.) Upload your QP/LO to the Quick Page Exchange Gallery and post the link back here in this forum. Here is the link to the Gallery: 5.) IF you use a template for your Layout/Quick Page - please make sure it is CU OK! :) 6.) Again, don't forget to send me your Quick Page link! 7.) HAVE FUN!! I can't wait to see all of your gorgeous creations!! :) HARVEST HARMONY STORE LINK: http://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio...oducts_id=5515 GALLERY LINK: http://www.digitalscrapbookingstudio...y.php?cat=1158 Smooches, Toiny |
Re: Instructions for the Quick Page Exchange
What are the measurements for the quickpage? Is it ok to join this if you don't have a lot of experience? I'd hate to disappoint anyone...I'm loving the kit though so I'm going to grab it & see what I can come up with.

Re: Instructions for the Quick Page Exchange
A Quickpage is generally 12X12 inches (3600X3600 pixels) at 300 dpi, saved as a .PNG file to preserve transparency for the photo slots. Misty Cato has a fabulous quick & easy tutorial for photoshop users, which can be adapted for other programs!
Let me know if this helps! :DD By all means.... join!!! Everyone has to start somewhere, no experience required!! We want you all to have fun and enjoy the festivities here at theStudio!!! |

Re: Instructions for the Quick Page Exchange
Count me in. I just got the kit. I love to make QPs
I have never uploaded anything to media fire and not sure how to go about it,since I have always used 4share.I have a paid account at 4share. Do I have to join media fire to upload? |
Re: Instructions for the Quick Page Exchange
Hi Danzist!
You do not have to join Media Fire to join in and upload your files .... I suggested them because they do not have the long wait time to download files that 4Shared has if you are not a paid member. The last time I downloaded from 4Shared I had to wait 5+ mins before my download would begin.. :( I also experienced a lot of problems trying to upload to 4Shared... Maybe that was because I was not a paid member... LoL Can't wait to see your wonderful Quick Pages! Hugs! Quote:

Re: Instructions for the Quick Page Exchange
Thanks Kim! It's good to be back home! We are having very bad thunderstorms right now ... Lots of lightening ...:(
We just got a new iPad and I am very glad to have it! At least I can get online, check emails, and tinker on the Internet without worrying about my PC getting hit! :) Hugsss! Quote:

Re: Instructions for the Quick Page Exchange
Can I save these as .png & .psd or just save it as a .png? I already did both & can save them both in a folder in mediafire but wasn't sure if that's what I should do.

Re: Instructions for the Quick Page Exchange
Thank you ladies! Your QPs are gorgeous!! :)
Amy, I only need the PNG file for the exchange... but it's always good to keep your PSD ... you can use it as a template for other QPs you might make.. :) Oh... and don't forget, ladies, to zip your PNG file...upload to media fire (or whatever file sharing host you use) and send me the link to your download via email.... lindafl07@hotmail.com .. with "Quick Page Exchange Challenge" in the subject line.. :) Hugsss.. :) |
