Oops. Sorry I'm new & when I posted the pics they're really big. Any tips for shrinking them? Do I need to save them to a smaller size & if so how small?

About 600px usually does the trick! I also normally keep my file size to around 150kb as some Galleries have a limit of about that ;) What software are you using?
