Creative Suite actually refers to a collection of software programs by Adobe which includes Photoshop, that is what the CS stands for in CSPS; the most currant release of Photoshop is CSPS5.5 (which you can get 'standard' or 'extended' -
extended includes 3D capabilities). You don't necessarily have to purchase the entire suite of products to get it, it can be purchased by itself.
There are many designers using it. I do (I upgraded from PSE7), and yes
, actions, styles, brushes all work with it.
