Don't stress ladies, there are many factors in making a decision about who to vote for and it's different for each of us I would think. For me it's quality, preview appeal, how unique the elements and papers are and scrapability, palette choice (whether the colors work together) it's basically the things that make me go wow when I buy a kit.
Downsides would be thing that make me groan when I've bought a kit, like quality errors galore or heaps of recolored papers or elements.

and by the way, no designer is perfect with every kit they create, everyone has a quality error now and then so don't beat yourself up over one stray or a folder not named right. We're all human
