I just wanted to encourage everyone to check out the
“Me, Myself and I” challenge. This is from the heart as I think we need to move outside our comfort zones and scrap ourselves more. It’s not vanity, it’s FOR the future generations and why we scrapbook! Don’t they deserve to know a little about the author of the family history they’re reading, to understand who it is that thinks the content of the pages is important?
Part of the Journal Camp I did last year was devoted to scrapping in the first person. Start small, a few lines of journaling that include words like “I” and “me,” then ease into a picture of yourself. Don’t you think your great-great grandkids would be interested in seeing what you looked like and knowing what you thought today? Connect with your future!
Check out the challenge and give it a try, not for yourself, but for THEM!
