No it shouldn't effect your existing orders or downloads. Downloads are good for 35 days and 8 downloads.
If your days have expired you can try asking us at customer service to reset them for you. We will try to help you as best we can
If the designer is no longer with our store though we can't reset what is not on our servers. Hope that helps
