Northern European countries that have such long-dark winters, traditionally will have various hot drinks to warm the winter nights, Mead, Wassail and Glogg! This recipe came to me from my dearest friend (now no longer with us) who lived in the far North of Sweden. I tasted Glogg when I visited her before she died, and decided to come up with a dry-and storable substitute, hence the Instant Glogg recipe. I package several servings of the mix in a cello bag, then top it with a festive bag topper, and tie it to a bottle of red wine for a quick and different winter gift idea. Tell ya--it's VERY VERY warming!
