These cookies come out soft, chewy & delicious!
1/2 lb (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375. Use an electric mixer to cream together the butter & sugars. Add eggs one at a time and beat until well blended.
Combine flour, baking soda & salt, then add to batter by hand, stirring to blend. Stir in vanilla and then chocolate chips.
Drop by TBSP onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake until lightly browned, about 8-10 min. Yields: 3-4 dozen cookies
