Hi Judy, just came over and noticed this post from you; sorry I didn't catch it sooner. Did Kimberkatt's advice help you? If you have the layers window open, down at the bottom there is a little icon of two circles linked together. Make sure all the layers you want to link are stacked together, then hold down Shift while you choose the layers. Once everything you want is highlighted, just click on the little link icon I described. Hope this helps, though I wouldn't be surprised if you've already figured it out, and more, before I posted this!
