Hope you're looking forward to a fun weekend of relaxing and scrapping! Or at least a little of each!

This weekend we're doing a scraplift with a spooky twist! Below are 4 layouts. You must pick at least 2 layouts (you may use up to 4) you're inspired by and create a new layout! (e.g. the colours of one, the layout of another; or the photo composition of one, title work of another, photo treatment of another, clustering of another).

Sound like fun? If you complete this challenge and post to the Frankenstein Scraplift gallery by midnight (11:59 EST) on Monday, Oct 31st and you'll get this QP I created with my Happy Boo kit! And I'll be sending you a coupon for $2 off a purchase of $5 or more - good until November 4th!

This was great timing as I'd taken the close up of my husband just last week and it was just a bit blurry. Using it as the background and accentuating the color of his eyes was a great way to make use of that photo!

thanks for the challenge. my layout:

i tried to use elements from all four layouts. i used the rounded square background papers and layered strip from layout4; the corner fasteners, multi frame and mix of black & white and colour photos from layout2; the blended photo, round frame and glitter from layout3; and the title and journalling placement, jewel/bead strip and small flower embellishment from layout1.

This was fun to do - I used "Maybe Not" by bcalberti (stacked papers with rounded corners); "Cow Girl Cuties" by kristal_f (photo placement); "Cole's Birthday" by Kimm23 (diagonals):

Cool, my layout is here for lifting!! Actually, I used the folds on one of the other papers for the paper shapes. I really liked the pattern they made. I'm afraid I saw this too late to do a scraplift. They are so much fun. Like that this one combined different LOs.
