commercial use permissions

I have noticed some lovely items in the CU shop, and i was wondering how do you go about getting permission to use manufactured items (ie teddy bears and dolls etc?) i have tried writing to the manufacturer but had no response, any ideas most appreciated, thanks, Marion

Are you asking about items you took pictures of or Items form PU Kits?

If you're talking about extracting, for example (as it's here in the room - kids toys are everywhere), a toy that has been manufactured, like a Mickey Mouse toy - or any toy to be honest - you will have a hard time getting permission to extract it and then sell it (which is what is being done if you're selling a kit). Toy manufacturers usually trademark their toys to ensure knock off versions aren't resold - and extracting and repacking in a kit would violate their trademark restrictions. Keep trying with the manufacturer - but there's no "quick way" to get permission - hope that helps!

Look For Copyright Symbol on Tags or Embossed Labels. If it has a Copyright Symbol don't waste your time trying to get permission.
