Why the site is slow

yes the site is running slower than usual due to the increased traffic with the 50% off sale that is currently running as well as the Halloween Bash.

We appologise for the slow download speeds also, this is due to the same issue, so many customers downloading their purchases at the same time.
The site should be running faster when less traffic is coming in and out.

The forum isn't too bad for speed right now it is mainly the store with our huge sale going on the customers are stampeding in and our server is running hot LOL. we should be okay on the forum though, fingers crossed

Well, I think the forum is a bit slower then usual, but that might be my pc then! But, all of a sudden the header is gone! So I can't go to the shop or the gallery....I don;t know how this happened. All I see is a little red X
in the left upper corner

Sharon, did you try clearing your cookies/cache? sometimes that fixes things... I think the forum is a little bit slow right now because of the Halloween Grab Bag Goodies every one is downloading...

Tracy, thanks for letting us know about the store.
I was getting very frustrated until I came into the forum and saw this posting.

I have been trying to download my October 29th purchase for the past three days and still do not have all of my order downloaded. I have been able to get only 3 of 10 kits that I purchased.

I'm sorry Betty, the whole huge downloads and traffic all converged on us and the server blew a gasket. We should be up and running again smoothly by Monday and the sale will be extended. Everyone will get their downloads, the zip files have 35 days from date of purchase before they expire and even then we can adjust if you didn't manage to get them all. I really do feel your frustration, it's slow going from our side too.
