Tents & camping?

So we are looking at camping all over Europe this summer. That way we can go more places b/c we are spending less on hotels. Fine by me!

But we need 1 bigger tent. I've got 2 small dome tents for the bigger boys, but I need one for me, Dave & the two youngest ones.

I need recommendations, good water proof, easy set-up, not too big and definitely, definitely not too expensive!

And while I'm at it... any words of advice on a separate screen tent for late night games under the skies but away from mosquitos?

Well, you cannot borrow ours, that's for sure. It is BIG, not only in size, but also big to pack, it takes up half the boot of the car....

The Icarus is not extremely cheap, but it has some living space, too.
If you'd like a party tent, too, I have one you can get for free, you only need to pick it up.

Thanks Anja! Where are you at? We are taking a trip to Amsterdam/Keukenhof and Maastricht area this weekend. How fun could this possible be!!!!

I live in Dordrecht, about 15 km to the south-east of Rotterdam. It is the oldest town in Holland and at least as beautiful as Amsterdam, only smaller. When you are planning your holidays, do include Dordrecht and Delft (about 20 km to the north-west of Rotterdam). It is well worth visiting both towns. Dordrecht has 2 camp sites, too, one is quite close to where I live.
