Week 1: Winning Layouts!

Hi all,

It is always hard to post the winners list. This week it's especially tough. There is something about each of your LO's that tugs at my heart strings. I'm very thankful for my Design & Admin team in helping me decide. No one had an easy time. Huge kudo's to all of you for creating such beautiful, poignant layouts.

This weeks winners all move on to Round 2. Week 2's assignment will be posted early Monday morning (in this little forum). All LO's will be due by Midnight (EST) on Thursday. You will be PM'd the links to the kit.

I'm surprised and grateful that my ATC about K-9 Officer Bosco was one of the layouts chosen as a winner of week one. I have never done anything like this before and have no idea what the criteria used by the judges is, so I consider myself very lucky. As an animal lover, Bosco's was a story that touched my heart on many levels. I was one of hundreds who contributed money towards his care at The Ohio State University Veterinary Hospital. We are so lucky in Columbus, Ohio to have two such remarkable hospitals to care for our furry friends. I'm looking forward to week two's challenge. Congratulations to all of the other week one winners, and to everyone who contributed amazing and touching layouts for this challenge.

Thank you so much for allowing me to move on in the contest. I am incredibly delighted - and surprised! There are so many wonderful layouts. I'm sure it was very hard for the judges to make their decision. I'm very excited to see what our assignment is tomorrow and what kit we will be working with!

It had to have been a very difficult decision to go through all those fabulous layouts and choose only about half of the entries to move onto to Round 2; thanks for including me in your choices!
