Hello Everyone in August!

I hope this month will bring some relief for those having to deal with the hot/humid weather and make the rest of the summer more enjoyable.
Feel free to grab some cold beverage and come play along with us here at the Studio.
I'm pleased to announce that Linda Cumberland, who has been popping in so often, will be joining me here for the color challenge. I feel that our style, choices in palettes goes so well together and I hope you will enjoy the change as well.

How do you include a preview of your LO in this thread? I tried something I used elsewhere - but doesn't work here.

Hi Glonet...
If you want to include the actual preview you uploaded and not just the link... you will need to upload your preview to an outside source like photobucket. Once it is uploaded you then copy the direct link (it will begin with http

... come back to this thread... click on the 5th icon from the right - (it will say insert image when you hover your mouse over it) - insert your preview link in the pop up box and click ok ... this will place the html coding in your post. You can view it by clicking on "Preview Post" below... if you are happy with it... click submit reply.

Hi Glonet... I am sorry, I don't know how to use the gallery image link to post your image here.. I have tried it in the past but it's never worked for me either... LoL... So I just upload to an outside photo hosting site and use the link from there...

This is easy. But, there are several steps. First you post your LO in the gallery. Go to the top of your screen and right click the page address and copy the whole address. It is the one that starts with http:// and is at the very top. Now go back to the forum and find the end of the thread. Click on the "Post Reply" button. When the window comes up, right click and paste. Add anything you want to say. Then click on Submit Reply at the bottom. Now you have the link to the page in the gallery where your LO is. Click on that link it will take you right to your page in the gallery. Look under your LO and find the "Direct Link" and click and drag to highlight that whole address. It will not all show, so drag until you get it all. Now right click on the highlighted area and copy. Go back to the page in the forum and find your reply. Click on edit, then on "go advanced" to get to a new window. You must be in the advanced edit for it to work. Scroll down to where you want your LO to show up and click. Look up to the line that starts with B I U and find the icon that looks like a yellow post card with a mountain on it. Click on this. A small window opens with a place for an address. Right click inside the highlighted area. Be sure it is in that area or you will not get the whole thing in. Now paste and then save your edit at the bottom of the edit area. You should have your LO show up.

I think better in brief simple steps so I wrote this for myself from your instructions and IT WORKED!
Thanks so much!
1. Post LO in the gallery , R click web address and copy.
2. Go to forum, click on post reply, then add the web address(your LO in gallery) and any comments, submit reply.
3. Click on link to gallery LO, find Direct Link, click & drag to highlight the whole address(easier to start at end go to L), R click and copy
4. Go to your reply in forum, click on edit, then 'go advanced'
5. Go to line where U want LO to show & click, find icon with postcard with mountain and click on it
6. When window with address opens, R click highlighted area and paste.
7. You can preview if U want, then Save edit and LO should show up.

Yeah!! A new Color Challenge... yummy summer color palette thanks to Linda C... reminds me of sherbert!! Starter Kit provided by Linda is yummy too! Hope you like the mini kit..
