Then and Now Challenge

Hello all! I`m super excited to be hosting this challenge! I love back to school ... a time of new beginnings, full of excitement and hope

For this challenge, I want you to take a moment to reflect on how much can change in a year. Scrap a photo of your child going back to school this year, and scrap a photo of your child going back to school last year.

Here are the rules (there aren`t a lot!)

1. You can scrap two layouts (one for each photo) or one layout with two photos, that`s up to you!

2. If your kids aren`t going back to school, you can scrap a photo of your child or another loved one now and a year ago. Even adults change a lot in a year!

3. Anyone can participate. If possible, please use mostly products from our wonderful designers here at theStudio. We have some awesome goodies (currently at 50% off) with a Back to School theme.

4. Layouts must be posted by 25th August, 2012. You can pop them in our special Back To School Gallery, and here in this thread.

One winner will receive a coupon for a free kit from my store!

I'll have to go through my picture discs [...that could take a while...] and see if I can find one of Zammy in kinder!!

I couldn't find 3rd grade, so I did Elementary years Kindergarten - 4th Grade. Can't believe I will have a Middle Schooler this year!

Want to hear something funny Danielle? I moved over a year ago and I still haven't unpacked my box with my disks! My office space is the corner of a closet here - much smaller than it was in the old place - so I'm having issues finding places to put things.

This was so much fun! I found photos I forgot I had. I love the one where little sister, Jameson, is watching big brother, Cohen meet his kindergarten teacher, and then there's Jameson, 3 years later meeting the same teacher. Out of 10 kindergarten classes, we are so glad she also got Miss Trushca.

Here is mine for my daughter - one was taken at the beginning of Kindergarten, Sept 2011 and the other was taken in May 2012,at the end of the school year... until I put these two pictures together, I never noticed the difference! Thank you Jewel for an awesome challenge!

How lovely! I wanted both my boys to have the same kindergarten teach but it wasn't meant to be. Kindergarten teachers can be so special! (or awful, as I found out LOL)

Wow she really changed a LOT! It's funny how we sometimes don't notice it in the moment but when we look back it really hits!
