OMG! I'm new to this forum and have been buying Maurine's kits for a couple months now because I'm so impressed with her work. I finally have all her kits that are for sale at the store. Maurine is my absolute favorite and I don't even scrap. This recipe for the Cabbage and Potato Bake is fantastic!!! Made it today early this morning. Cabbage, potatoes, bacon and onions are the top 4 of my top 5 list. My Italian Greyhound, Marco Roni, even got his behind out of the bed early this morning when he smelled it cooking. lol Thank you so much for your kit Maurine and Candiem for the recipe.

Here's mine, a tad late, as usual. This is a great 'supper' for after a funeral, wedding, or anytime someone needs a meal and can't cook. You probably wouldn't take this recipe to someone after they had stomach surgery. The beauty of this dish, is that you start with 'ready made' ingredients and tweak it. Adjust the 'heat' to your own liking. I personally like it HOT!

This recipe is just a tiny bit spicy and is a meal in one dish. Take it to a family with not a lot of time to cook.

This is a recipe of a soup that someone brought over when my husband passed away--- I liked it so much I asked for the recipe, have yet to actually make it myself but it was really good.
