Red face June Point In Time Challenge

Ok, I give up. If I have to wait with posting, until I get the "add" finished, I'm afraid it will be nearer December than July!

So here are the rules for the challenge this month......

The timeframe is ANYTIME IN HISTORY
Person is THE FIRST PERSON IN YOUR TREE THAT LEFT THE AREA. This can be something as simple as leaving the town your family has lived in for years to move in where the spouses family lives, or where the job is he/she is taking on, or as involved as crossing an ocean to start a new life.
PHOTO's are great, but understandably, if the event was 200 years ago, there may not be any. LOL[

As always,
It is appreciated if you use our Studio Designers, but not a requirement, but please, DO credit what you use.
Post your page in the gallery here
Post a link to your page here in the thread, so we know you posted, and leave some love
ENJOY DIGGING UNDER YOUR FAMILY TREE and scrapping what you found

I hope to see you in the gallery.
Hugs,
Pauli

Although I know that my ancestors came from France, Ireland and Czechoslovakia I have no photos, stories or proof as to when. Only what I heard through the grapevine. The very first person I actually know of that left his country to come to America was my husband. This is his story:

My great grandmother came to Texas on a wagon train from Tennessee. Somewhere along the way a photographer shot this picture. I'm fortunate to have one of the copies, apparently the best preserved copy in the family. I haven't been able to identify most of the people because of the graininess, but I do know my great grandmother and her mother! Her little brother is on the wagon behind them, but I have no idea who the other people are. I'm not even sure which one is my gg grandfather. He's the one who is furthest back in that line to leave home. I haven't been able to locate his parents so have no idea who or where they were. An interesting fact, my gg grandmother seated in front of the first wagon with my great grandmother, is the one who was Pres. James K. Polk's cousin that I scrapped about last month.

Ladies, these pages are awesome! When I started the challenge for the month, I wasn't sure if anybodywould be interested, and I am so happy to see your pages :-)

Thank you for playing, and I hope to see you in the July Challenge. It will be up in a little bit, but before the weekend, for sure.
