Talking Sandra here, from Hungary

Joined your forum just in a week and immediately jumped into the contest so I forgot to introduce myself here.
I found digi scrapping this year's INSD and I fell in love with it. I didn't scrap with papers I never got interested in it. But digiscrapping is a whole new world for me. Love it, love it, love it. And did I say I love it?
I always was a digi person, I love the internet and the possibilities it brings to my life. Thanks to the internet I was able to quit my daily job (worked at the local police station) and just run my own jewellery supplies business here in Hungary. It was a really hard work for long years but it worth it! I'm my own boss, who needs more? I used to design wire jewelleries but nowadays I just don't feel the urge to make something, my muse left me.
At this point came digiscrapping into my life. Do I need to say more? I found may way again to express my feelings.

Maybe I was too brave, but entered the designer contest. I'm totally new in designing but I enjoy it so much and the outcome makes me so happy!

OMG!!! Are you me??? I discovered digiscrapping in July 2012 ... entered the competitions here last year ... now I'm "officially" a designer??? I entered both the designer and layout artist competition ... didn't win either, but definitely made some GREAT friends and, best of all, got noticed. You will love it here!!!

Wow! I'm not so self confindent, but it would be great to be like you! Entered the challenges for fun and to learn. During these 3 weeks I had lots of fun and learned a lot not just about designing and scrapping but about myself too!

I feel awkward welcoming you because I'm brand new and haven't even introduced myself LOL. But I had to jump in here and say hi because my husband is Hungarian. His parents were from Hungary, and one of his brother's was born there. He was born in the U.S. but speaks Hungarian. I even know a few words, but don't test me! So welcome, and I really look forward to seeing your work!

Edit: turns out, I HAVE introduced myself ... I completely forgot hahaha (Mine is "Hello from Idaho!")

Hey welcome Sandra.
I used to make jewelry years ago, loved it. You'll have a great time, the studio is by far the best place in digi world.

It's such a tipical story! Because of our rugged history there are Hungarians every part of the world. During last few years the emigration started growing again. I'm not planning to move, my family loves here and don't care about the politics.

Now I go and check your thread.
